Gu Jingxu, watching her, lowered his eyelashes slightly.

The girl had been wearing a smile on her face all along, and he couldn’t discern whether she was genuinely happy. However, at this moment, he could feel that she was indeed happy.

Chi You turned on her phone and saw a message from an unknown number.

[Are you with that gentleman now?]

Chi You immediately guessed who sent the message.

Apart from the person who came with her to dinner that evening but had no say in anything, there would be no one else.

She pursed her lips and replied.

After sending the message, she muted her phone and went to the adjacent bedroom to find her pajamas. When she stood in front of the bathroom door, she paused for a moment, then turned around, closed the door, and returned to Gu Jingxu’s room.

It didn’t take long for Gu Jingxu to finish showering. He changed out of his suit, revealing a somewhat sturdy body emitting heat. Wearing pajamas with the belt loosely tied around his waist, he exposed his eye-catching chest muscles. He didn’t pay attention to those details, and when he saw Chi You approaching after finishing, he showed a faint expression.

Chi You hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit nervous. So, when she passed by Gu Jingxu without saying anything, she locked the bathroom door, and in the steam-filled bathroom, she slowly looked at herself in the mirror.

Gu Jingxu’s hair was only half-dried.

He stood where Chi You had just stood, feeling a bit unreal.

Chi You was now in his home, in his room, in his bathroom.

Gu Jingxu hadn’t figured out his current mood. In fact, he had been thinking a lot recently, regretting not learning more unexpected things during his school days. At least, this would have prevented him from making various mistakes when facing Chi You now.

He took a deep breath, lowered his eyes, and relaxed.

After an unknown amount of time, the sound in the bathroom stopped, the door opened, but Chi You didn’t come out for a long time.

Gu Jingxu, holding a book in his hand, couldn’t turn to the next page.

He listened to the sound, then Chi You called out to him in a calm tone.

It had been a long time since hearing her call his name sent shivers down his spine. Gu Jingxu calmly put down the book and walked steadily towards the bathroom. In the next moment, in the swirling mist, Chi You reached up and hooked her hand around his neck.

The warm breath suddenly approached.

It was unclear who took the initiative, but when Gu Jingxu came to his senses again, Chi You was half-leaning in his arms, breathing slightly faster.

The corners of the girl’s eyes were moist, long eyelashes sticking together from the water. Her cheeks and the corners of her lips were overly red from being sucked and nibbled.

Gu Jingxu stiffened for a moment, awkwardly turning his head aside. As his ears quickly heated up, Chi You suddenly raised her hand and with a click turned off the bathroom light.

In this small patch of darkness, the lingering breath gradually spread.

The bathroom was shrouded in darkness, with a faint light from the bedroom casting a gentle glow on half of the girl’s face in his arms.

Her fair and delicate skin glowed, and the fragrance on her body after the bath was the same as his. A strand of wet hair stuck to her face, tracing down her neck.

Their breaths intertwined, and unable to resist, Gu Jingxu gently rubbed his nose against her cheek. The soft touch made him reluctant to pull away, but the girl turned her head, placing her fingers lightly on his chest, indicating a desire to push him away.

Chen You didn’t use much force. Gu Jingxu hesitated for a moment, then gently released her, asking in a hoarse voice, “Uncomfortable?”

Unexpectedly, he asked this way. Chi You raised her eyelids to look at him, not saying a word.
